Both films look cute on the outside, but I have a feeling there's such tragedy lying underneath... such as mankind either destroying these creatures or their homes.
"Princess Mononoke" is a good film too that demonstrates what mankind can do to nature and the fantastic creatures that inhabit it. There's more similar-themed films too that I can't remember.

The only thing that gets me by personally is the thought that there are some great people out there among the bad.

I'd buy your father, if you buy my mother... :/
